Mo Almo

As a detail-oriented filmmaker, I strive to create narrative and documentary films like the ones I love watching.

I’m a recent graduate of The Pennsylvania State University — with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production — where I discovered my passion for directing, editing, and cinematography through collaborations with my peers.

I currently live on the East Coast, but I’m originally from Saudi Arabia. Before moving the United States, I was a marketing specialist at Dejavu, a coffee shop, where I created social media content. I focused on distinguishing the brand through short-form videos, photos, and graphic design. In the United States, I’ve expanded my filmmaking expertise past student films by covering concerts and working as a visual journalist for the News Lab at Penn State. I created visual news content for social media by integrating interviews and fly-on-the-wall coverage.
